My work is inspired by poetry, dreams, and human mythic awareness of creation and destruction, in all their forms. I worked as a set designer and set decorator for features and television shows for many years, only recently returning to fine arts. Sets are, in their most basic form, a box prepared to fit a story in which things happen. My pieces reflect my experience and are often small contained spaces which set a stage for something that either has happened or is about to.
