Renee is a professional calligrapher, multi-media artist working in 3 dimensional art. She is originally from New York where she has a background in childrenÕs clothing design. She began her career in calligraphy shortly after arriving in Los Angeles in 1976 and is an active member of the Society for Calligraphy. Her client list includes many celebrities, philanthropists, and prominent businesses. For the past 10 years, she is proud to say, she has personalized the Academy Award Nomination Certificates for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. ReneeÕs work has been published in many publications such as Somerset Studios, Altered Couture and in several books, one that is due to come out in fall of 2009 called ÒHand Lettering"." Renee considers herself blessed to be doing what she loves most in her life and is in gratitude when one of her pieces resonates with someone and welcomes the chance to hear any comments.
