Santa Monica Membership and submission information

| The Ten Women Gallery is a cooperative gallery of local artists offering unique art and handmade gifts. The group was formed in 1994 (at the original Santa Monica location) to support each other as artists and to share our resources as entrepreneurs. Being a member of a cooperative involves time commitments and a financial committment. |
The following is an outline of those responsibilities.
Each member:
• Pays monthly rent, approximately $85 - $120 per month in addition to a one time $150.00 joining fee.
• Works one 5 hour shift per week
• Attends monthly meetings.
• Serves on a committee (lighting, pr, events, etc)
• Is responsible for maintaining their space. |
To apply to Ten Women Main Street:
• Submit up to four 8 x 11 inch photographic documents of your work. (No binders or presentation folders please).
• If you have card samples, or other samples, attach them to an 8 x 11 inch sheet of paper.
Do not submit any scans or photographs that you need back, or original works as submissions will not be returned. Ten Women Main Street is always accepting applications whether we have an opening or not. You may not receive a call about your submission, if you have any questions, call the gallery. |
